Collier-Blocker After-School Program
When: Friday, August 10 through the end of the school year (Monday-Friday)
Time: 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Where: Collier-Blocker Park, 10 North Holmes Boulevard, St. Augustine
Details: Students will enjoy computer access, board games, recreational games, pep talks, movies, cultural and social activities as well as field trips during this free, after-school program for all school-age students. For more information, contact Brian James at 904.209.0365 or bjames@sjcfl.us.

Howl-O-Ween Walk
When: Sunday, October 21
Time: 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Where: Treaty Park, 1595 Wildwood Drive, St. Augustine
Details: Join us for the annual Howl-O-Ween Walk! Costumes are strongly encouraged for both dogs and their humans. Best dog costume and best team costume will be awarded a prize. Dog supplies will be collected and donated to St. Johns County Animal Control Pet Center. All ages are welcome and there is a $20 fee per family/dog with goody bags and t-shirts for each participating family. Basketball Clinics for Kids
Sharpen your skills with our six-week long developmental basketball clinics for kids from Monday, November 5 through Wednesday, December 19 at Ketterlinus Gymnasium, 60 Orange Street, St. Augustine. We will be offering four divisions:

  • Kindergarten through 2nd Grade Co-Ed on Mondays from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
  • 3rd Grade through 8th Grade Girls on Mondays from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
  • 3rd Grade through 5th Grade Boys on Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
  • 6th Grade through 8th Grade Boys on Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

The program cost is $30 per player for the six weeks. To download a registration form, visit the Basketball Clinics for Kids website page. Just Kickin’ It
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays from November 5 through December 20
Time: 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Where: Solomon Calhoun Center, 1300 Duval Street, St. Augustine
Details: Sign up your little one to learn the fundamentals of soccer! Just Kickin’ It is a program for 4-5 year olds where they are taught basic soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting. Cost is $30 per participant and $15 for each additional child in the same family. Spaces are limited. Open Gym Sundays at Ketterlinus
When: Sundays through December 30
Time: 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Where: Ketterlinus Gymnasium, 60 Orange Street, St. Augustine
Details: Bring your own basketball and a few friends for a friendly scrimmage during our Sunday open gym hours at Ketterlinus. This program is FREE. For more information, contact Stephanie Taylor at 904.669.6612 or sntaylor@sjcfl.us.

Middle School Night Out
When: Friday, November 16
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Where: Solomon Calhoun Center, 1300 Duval Street, St. Augustine
Details: Come join us for a night of fun for grades 5 through 8 including a fall dance party with music, drinks, snacks, and other activities. Bring your friends and your dancing shoes! This program is FREE. For more information, contact Stephanie Taylor at 904.669.6612 or sntaylor@sjcfl.us.
